About DEAONNIM

Our Name #

DEAONNIM is a Dutch-Ghanaian Non-Governmental Organization whose founders are inspired by the Twi proverb:

“Nea onnim no sua a, ohu.”

English: “When he who does not know learns, he gets to know”
Dutch: “Wanneer hij die niet weet leert, dan komt hij het te weten.”

This proverb embodies our core belief in the transformative power of education.
